A Taco Stand on Every Corner Please!

When you travel south of the border no matter if you are in the north, south or central. No matter what the weather is like or what the common ingredients are being used in the restaurants or personal kitchens. You will always find one type of love for a very simple meal that simply drives thousands of people to  a corner in every street down south.

It is the taco stand, the place that lights up the corners of most streets and really gets the whole neighborhood together. Each family has their favorite, they know who is the best taco maker, who has the best salsa, who uses the freshest ingredients, who has the better quality meat, and of course who will give that delicious taco that will make you smile and ask for four more.

The taco stands south of the border have more a lot to offer than simply tacos a pastor and tacos de azada which are the typical tacos you can find in the U.S which are still pretty good but there are other kinds that if you dare can be just as good or even better. They offer head tacos or tacos de cabeza, tacos de tripa or tripe tacos, chorizo, lip, and even brains. It can go as far as you want but the truth is that the tacos are not simply a tortilla and the meat they are topped with beans, sometimes cabbage or lettuce, radishes, many kinds of salsas and of course limes. So you can taste the meat but what makes a taco great are all the toppings which in fact are my favorite. If you are a vegetarian and you simply are tempted to eat in the stand, ask them to simply warm you up a tortilla and you simply use your favorite toppings of course including beans. The great thing about them is that you choose and pick you are simply handed the tortilla and your choice of meat and you chose how sour, spicy or how much vegetables you want to add to it, you will find your favorite combination and will want to come back the next day.
